Coco butter, Vitamin E oil, or Bio-oil are excellent!
There is no real scar removal, but Vitamin E cream is the best to diminish scars.
Cocoa Butter Formula

you can get the old cheap version that does work, but not as effectively.

or the new enhanced version, which has silicone in it for elasticity, which reduces the appearance of scars.

hope that helps.
With new technology, the skin market is definitely improving with new products introduced into the market.. There definitely is such a thing as a scar removal cream available.. It'l take a while for the scar to go off but it's better than nothing.. Check out at all pharmacies.. You can also go to the doctor or a skin specialist.. They sure have such a thing...

Cheers.. (';,)

I want to do an ice cream sundae bar, what should I all include?

I am having a bunch of girlfriends over for a home decoration party. I want to have a lot of items but not overwhelming. What should I all include. Should I just have vanilla? or should I include chocolate and one other flavor ice cream?

For simplicity is it o.k. to use paper bowls.

Thanks for any input!I want to do an ice cream sundae bar, what should I all include?
neopolitan

whipped cream, chocolate syrup, m%26amp;ms, reeses pieces, oreosI want to do an ice cream sundae bar, what should I all include?
It all depends on how much you are willing to spend.

Budget:

- Vanilla and two other kinds of ice cream (your choice)

- 3 kinds of sauce

- nuts, cherries and marshmallows.

- Sprinkles

- whipped topping

All out:

- Vanilla and two other kinds of ice cream

- hot fudge, strawberry, dulce de leche, marshmallow, and pineapple sauces

- different kinds of crushed nuts

- different kinds of sprinkles

- cherries both fresh and bottled

- fresh fruits and berries

- oreo cookie pieces and brownie pieces

- whipped topping

- standard, sugar, waffle and pretzel cones

I don't see any problem with paper bowls, unless this is meant to be a formal affair. Good luck.
For the ice creams, I would have vanilla, a good chocolate one and a frozen yogurt.

For the toppings: caramel, fudge sauce, oreo cookies, gummy bears, sprinkles, toffee bits, almonds and coconut,

Don't forget the whipped cream!

Paper bowls are fine but since it's a decorating party, get some really colorful ones.
An ice cream bar is a great idea in my oppinion, I just had one for my sweet 16 and all my friends loved it! We bought the big bucket of ice cream that was segmented into chocolate, vanilla, and strawberry, then we bought crunch bars, gummy worms/bears, sprinkles, chocolate syrup, and reece's and put them all in bowls....and yes! we used paper bowls....i dont think people will care as long as there's food in them. lol. Good luck and have fun!
strawberry and vanilla with chocolate sprinkles and other little touches you could add ... because sundae's are usually bright and warm colours ..enjoy
I would have vanilla, then Nepolian flavored ice cream. With Chopped peanuts, cherries, hot fudge. These are all the simple things to a great sundae!:)
Your beverage choices are fine. I would also offer water. Paper products are perfectly fine. In addition to paper bowls, I would use plastic cups (Get a marker so that your guests can write on their cup so that they don't get mixed up). Plastic spoons too because you don't want to spend hours after your party washing dishes.

As for your Sundae Bar, (great idea too) I would only have Vanilla Ice Cream - good quality - but go all out for toppings.

Waffle Bowls

Hot Fudge Topping (or Chocolate Sauce)

Caramel

Whipped Cream

Chopped Nuts

Maraschino Cherries

Marshmallow Fluff

Pineapple

Sliced Bananas

Strawberries (get the sliced frozen strawberries and just thaw them out)

This is all stuff that you can have set out ahead of time (except your Ice Cream of course).

I recently found some Apple Cinnamon Sauce at my local Wal-Mart. (Smuckers)

Have a great party and don't forget to have a great time yourself!

As for serving other things, having your get together at 7PM, you really don't have to. Those kinds of events, really can be anything you want them to be. Sweet and salty do go good together. Maybe if it is in you budget, consider some chips, mixed nuts or what ever your favorite snack is.

How much ice cream do you need? I am just guessing here, but I would think that you could serve probably 6 to 8 people per half gallon container - depending on service size. Scale down the scoops, then, you will be able to serve more.

Have fun.

Has anyone ever made an ice cream sandwich cake?

I was wondering if I could put one together today, and leave it in the freezer until tomorrow? Will it go too hard or get freezer burn? Will it be fine to eat straight from the freezer? Should I let it dethaw for a little while?Has anyone ever made an ice cream sandwich cake?
yes you can and it's easy. what i like to do is take a brownie mix and bake it on 1-2 sheet pans so that it's not too thick. you do not want to over bake it or it will be too hard to work with so i would check on it and just before it is done you want to take it out and put some foil on it and let it set for about 10 mins. when it has cooled you want to take it out of the pan and cut 1 of them and make it to fit a cake pan. make sure that you put some plastic wrap on the pan so that you can get it out later. if you do it right you should get a top and bottom out if the brownie.

now you get out the ice cream. you should let it set for a few mins so that it is soft but not melted. you spread the ice cream on top of the first brownie cut out and then when done put the top on on.

you put the whole thing in the Freezer and let it set for about 4 hours and that's it. take it out about 30 mins before you want to serve it.Has anyone ever made an ice cream sandwich cake?
Yes you can make it and leave it in the freezer - won't hurt it a bit. You can eat straigt from the freezer, but I would maybe soften it up by taking it out about 15 min before using.

Homemade gelato or ice cream without an ice cream maker?

Can anyone share a recipe for either one that doesn't use an ice cream maker? Preferably Gelato but ice cream will work as well!Homemade gelato or ice cream without an ice cream maker?
    Strawberry Gelato (serves 4)

    鈥? pound fresh strawberries

鈥?/4 cup sugar, or more to taste

鈥? cup mascarpone or creme fraiche

Remove the stems from the strawberries. Cut lengthwise in half and then cut each half again. You are going to freeze them so the smaller they are, the faster they will freeze and the better the texture your finished product will have.

Arrange the strawberry pieces in a single layer on a baking sheet and slide into the freezer for 2 hours, until frozen solid.

Put the frozen strawberry pieces into a food processor, add the sugar and pulse briefly. Add the mascarpone or creme fraiche and pulse until the mixture is smooth as silk.

Divide between 4 bowls and serve immediately. You can also transfer the gelato into another container and freeze. Once the gelato is frozen solid, you can put it back into the food processor and pulse again briefly before serving!

I鈥檝e tried this with strawberries and peaches. The variations are endless. I鈥檓 thinking blueberries next time. Let me know what comes to mind!Homemade gelato or ice cream without an ice cream maker?
You can make ice cream without an ice cream maker. After the mixture has cooled, place it in a plastic food storage container with a lid and place it in the freezer. After 20 minutes, take it out of the freezer and beat the mixture; then freeze again for 20 minutes and then beat again. Afterwards, place the mixture back in the freezer overnight.

The ice cream won't be as smooth as ice cream made with an ice cream maker, but it will taste just as good.
You can use a mixer or food processor,

    Gelato

1 large Box Jello (example-Strawberry Flavor)

    1 Can Condensed Milk

    1 cup milk

1 cup fresh fruit (example Strawberries)

If you want Chocolate, use a large Chocolate Pudding Mix and follow the same recipe.

Process on high for about 4 minutes to beat in volume, remove and freeze in a covered container.
This is an easy and fun recipe for making ice cream

    you will need

    -1 tablespoon sugar

    - 1/2 cup milk or half %26amp; half

    - 1/4 teaspoon vanilla

    - 6 tablespoons rock salt

    - 1 pint-size plastic food storage bag (e.g., Ziploc)

    - 1 gallon-size plastic food storage bag

    - Ice cubes

    How to Make it

    1. Fill the large bag half full of ice, and add the rock salt. Seal the bag.

    2. Put milk, vanilla, and sugar into the small bag, and seal it.

    3. Place the small bag inside the large one, and seal it again carefully.

    4. Shake until the mixture is ice cream, which takes about 5 minutes.

    5. Wipe off the top of the small bag, then open it carefully. Enjoy!

Tips this will make only about a scoop of ice cream but if you want two scoops double the amount.

    Another recipe is

    You will need

1/4 teaspoon imitation vanilla butter and nut flavor

    1 tablespoon sugar

    1/2 cup 1% milk

Put the ice-cream ingredients in the small bag, and then put the bag, salt, and ice in the big bag. Hold the bag shut and stir it around on the floor for about 5 minutes. Although the salt pellets hardly dissolved, I got ice cream. It was not as smooth as ice cream, probably because of the low-fat milk. Instead, it was a little like sherbet. I think if I had more ice in the bag, I could have shaken it better. I'd recommend wearing gloves. It is incredible that it is ready in 5 minutes (not counting assembling the ingredients.)

    Good Luck!!!!

Is there a reason why you can't/won't use vanilla? It's a base flavor, without it your pastries will not taste as great because it will be missing ';something'; and will be reminiscent of a bagel.

I was thinking shaving cream too but that seems just as messy as whipped cream.

The cotton balls would work but I don't know if they will have a dramatic effect. How about using those candy orange slices? They would give the effect of apple pie chunks.

You could also use those pompom balls you buy in bags at the craft store. They come in two or three different sizes and would be a little heavier than the cotton balls.

I suppose you could try some squishy foam balls. They can be ';sliced' to and would resemble apples.

I also thought of styrofoam, but I don't know how styrofoam would be... my first thought would be that it may get too close to the eyes.

YES I THINK YOU CAN.Can i substitute lemon juice for cream of tartar in a meringue pie recipe?
I really need more information to answer this question. But, I'll take a stab at it anyway.

I never use vinegar in lemon meringue pie ';filling.'; Why would you do that? Use lemon juice and a little lemon zest.

If you are talking about cream of tartar in the meringue you don't need it nor would you need to use lemon juice. Here's an easy No Fail meringue recipe that I've used for many years.

    NO FAIL PIE MERINGUE

    1 tbsp. cornstarch

    2 tbsp. cold water

    1/2 c. boiling water

    3 egg whites

    6 tbsp. sugar

    1 tsp. vanilla

    Pinch of salt

Blend cornstarch and cold water in a saucepan. Add boiling water and cook, stirring until clear and thickened. Let stand until completely cold. With electric mixer at high speed, beat egg whites until foamy.

Gradually add sugar, beat until stiff (not dry). Turn mixer to low speed and add salt and vanilla. Gradually beat in the cold cornstarch mixture. Beat all at high speed and beat well.

Spread meringue over cool pie filling and bake at 350 degrees for approximately 10 minutes.
-Substitute the cream of tartar for an equal amount of lemon juice or vinegar. The amount for substitution should measure about 1/8 teaspoon per egg white.

-Sweeten if needed. You may like to add a little sugar, but you don't have to.

-Try an alternative option. Try leaving the cream of tartar out completely. If you do this, just make sure you beat the egg whites thoroughly to create the wispy, frothy and airy texture needed for the recipe.
for cream of tarter use a little baking soda. Lemon juice is flavoring and cream of tarter is for stiffing the peeks in the meringue. Two very differant things for the pie.
cream of tartar is a thickening agent for sweet recipes, no you cant.
Yes! lemon juice is a AWESUM substitute!! :)

How do you make cream of potato soup and cream of brocoli soup? Help me?

Milk, butter, a little bit of flour... (potatoes, and brocoli)

Use the butter and flour to make a ruox, stir in warm pot.

Add a bit of warm milk while stirring rue to avoid clumps.

Gradually add more milk as the ruox mix becomes warmer and thicker.

Using soft cooked potatoes will make a Potato soup, but you can cheat by using dry can mash mix.

If brocoli add it last, because it cooks right away.

check http://www.allreceipes.com.How do you make cream of potato soup and cream of brocoli soup? Help me?
Half and Half or creamer, then add potatoes or broccoli. Campbell's also makes cream of broccoli, but they don't really put any broccoli in it, so I would add some.
For cream of potato soup, start by boiling the potatoes until they are somewhat mushy. Do not drain the potatoes.

Make a roux by melting about half a stick of butter in a different saucepan. Add enough flour to just make a paste. Cook the roux for about 3-4 minutes on med low heat.

Add your potatoes and potato water to the roux and bring to a boil. Add just enough cream to make it ';creamy';. Add salt and pepper to taste.

You can make cream of brocc the same way. Just boil the brocc instead of the potatoes. Then puree it before adding it to the roux.

If you want to make cheesy brocc or cheesy potato, simply add shreeded american cheese to the finished soup.
Place broccolli in pot with cold water and boil untill tender.

Drain and place in food-processor with 250 ml cream, salt and pepper and 100 ml vegetable stock . Blitz untill smooth and serve.
Here's a Cream of Broccoli recipe that is really good -

2 lb. broccoli (can use hard ends of broccoli to be frugal)

    2 tbsp. butter

    1/2 c. yellow onions, chopped

    1/4 c. chopped green pepper

    2 tbsp. flour

    6 c. chicken soup stock

    1 bay leaf

    Parsley

    1 tsp. ground thyme

    6 black peppercorns

    Pinch nutmeg

3 egg yolks, whipped %26amp; blended with 1 c. milk or cream

Chop up the broccoli, saving some of the small buds and flowers for later use. Saute in the butter along with the onions and green pepper. Sprinkle with the flour and stir. Add to the soup stock, along with the bay leaf, parsley, thyme and peppercorns. Cook for 30 minutes and puree mixture in blender or sieve. Add the nutmeg. Strain the soup from the pulp and return to pan. Add the egg yolk and milk or cream mixture and pour into hot soup. Serve with some of the reserved broccoli buds floating in the bowl.

Why you would want to use this powder, only you know. Generally after a warm shower, would be good. You can mix any lotion into a workable creamy paste with the powder. Also, a heating pad over the (affected area?) after the paste has been applied, should do even more for the penetration of the paste.

Try a place called ';Serendipity'; in N.Y. city .
Do you mean, ';lavender'; as in the flavor or ';lavender'; as the color??

I don't think you're going to find lavender flavor, but you easily make lavender icecream by buying some plain vanilla (Hagen Daaz vanilla works best) and put food coloring in it (equal parts red and equal parts blue) until you get the desired color. Because lavender is a pastel color, it shouldn't take very much food coloring.

If he doesn't want to do that, you can find blueberry flavored icecream and it usually has a lavender-like hue.

    hope this helps!

Sweet Balls Made With Cream of Wheat, Spices, and Nuts

    Mix together in a saucepan:

1 cup uncooked cream of wheat

    1 cup all-purpose flour

    1/2 cup ghee

Cook over a low flame until the mixture turns brown (about 5-10 minutes), then mix in and stir constantly for another 2-3 minutes:

    1 cup sugar

2 teaspoons powdered, unsalted nuts (mixture of cashew, pistachio, almond)

    1 teaspoon cadamom powder

Mix well. Let cool for as long as possible, at least 30-60 minutes. The balls are easier to form when the ingredients are room temperature. Make into 1'; balls by squeezing about 1 heaping teaspoon of dough back and forth from one hand to another. Continue this process until each ball is firm and shiny. The mixture will be crumbly at first, and it takes a number of passes between your hands for the ball to form. If you are finding the mixture too crumbly, be sure you have let it cool enough. Some people find using a melon baller helps the process. As a last resort, add a little more melted ghee.

This is great! There are lots of things you can do with Cream of Wheat, my fav. cold weather hot cereal...but I think the best thing to do is to put a big spoon full of butter in the middle of the bowel, drizzle milk on it and then sprinkle it with brown sugar...YUM. My kids hate it, it's someting I had to eat growing up and now LOVE. Funny how things like that work out. LOL.
as much as i agree with the answer of chucking it in the toilet, click on the site below for some ideas.
How wasteful you are to throw cream of wheat down the toilet. There are so so so many things you can do with cream of wheat.

How Do I make Snow Ice Cream?

When I was a little girl, my mom and I would go outside on the third or fourth snow and scoop up a bowl of clean fresh snow. We would add things like sugar, vanilla, and milk and turn it into SNOW ICECREAM. I remember LOVING it and eating it up and ALWAYS wanting more. It was delicious. My mom passed away in 01 and I never got the recipe for snow ice cream. I want to teach my step daughter Bailey how to make it, and I dont know how.

Does anyone have this recipe. It would mean alot to me and my little girl. Thanks, AngelHow Do I make Snow Ice Cream?

Hope you get it ust the way your mom maked it! ANd I'm sorry your mom passed away.....
there are ways to make snow cones or snow icecream, like what wiggles said and you can make koolaid then pour it into snow thats in a cup. make sure the snow is not yellow!
I don't think there is a definite recipe. My mom would just gather up a bowlful of snow (clean, fresh, nothing but clean snow), and would add a little sugar, about a teaspoon of vanilla, and some evaporated milk. She would stir it and taste it, and when it tasted right to her she would give it to me and my brother.

Just try it until you get the proportions the way YOU want them.

Good Stuff - Snow Ice Cream.
    You got it!

Vanilla, milk and sugar..... depending on how much you are making... just flavor to taste and for a little added something try a little food coloring!

My Grandmother used to make it for me too.... keep up the memories. Hope you daughter enjoys it!
If you have a ice cream maker you can substitute the snow fer the ice surrounding the cylinder.I would never reccomend using it in the ice cream, makes no matter if it is the third nor fourth.Pollution, just not clean.Do you know of any test involving the first thru fourth nor fifth snow.I doubt there is much difference in the pollution contents.Eating fresh snow probably will not harm a kid as their immune is to young still.

Is it possible to thicken hand cream?

I have a hand cream but its a bit watery and ineffective. I like experimenting with cosmetics and was wondering, is it possible to make it a thicker formula by adding something like Vaseline and then melting it together? Any ideas or tips?Is it possible to thicken hand cream?
I have never heard of thickening hand lotion...why don't you try body butter....it is very thickIs it possible to thicken hand cream?
Try melting some shea butter and adding some cornstarch and whpping it up. Yummy!!!!!!!!!!!!!!1
the vaseline will make it all slimy and it won't absorb. i suggest using a tiny, tiny amount of flour from the kitchen, it sounds stupid, but its great as it will thicken it (but don't use 2 much or it'll form a paste!) and it won't affect the hand cream at all. hope this helps
Just plain ol' white flour should do the trick...
    put cornflower in it?

  • What is the best diaper rash cream?

I have a little sister and she has a CRAZY diaper rash. Im looking for something that also helps itching, if possible. Thanx! What is the best diaper rash cream?
Tho original Desitin, not the creamy.( It comes right off )! Try to find it in the jar, it just seems to be a little better than the tube. Good luck..What is the best diaper rash cream?
Desitin ointment. I used to use that on my little ones. It worked great.
babyaid found at walmart. nothing else like it.
I use to use corn starch on my babies. It seem to help the most in this hot weather that we are having.
    try Desitin ointment.
Wash her buttocks well, gently pat it dry. During the day would it be possible to let her walk around (playpen inside or backyard outside) without any covering on her bottom until it heals a little? Keeping it dry and air on the skin gives fast relief and heals it the fastest. When I had to put the diapers on over a rash, I would use Desitin (comes in a tube) and I think it has Vitamin A %26amp; D in it and I recall a slightly fishy odor but that's what worked for me.

In the old days, I'd need to be sure the diapers are washed with Clorox %26amp; rinsed very well -- cleaner than clean but now most people use paper diapers so that probably wouldn't be your problem.

Of course it depends on your body, but, FOR ME, it has worked SOOOOOO WELL!!!! :)

Whatever you do... DO NOT try Cellulean... it has given some people results that say they've gained some lbs. (eeek!)

good luck!!!!Does anyone know of any cellulite cream that MOST DEFINITELY works?
There is no cream that you can say 'definitely works'

For real solutions to the problem try the following:

    They work very quickly.

    1. This works every time better than anything.

Go on holiday to a hot country with slightly rough surf sea and swimming in it e.g Gran Canaria. ( I am from the UK but there are plenty of places in the US that are similar). Walking over sand dunes are also good for toning the muscles all over.

Just standing around in the sea resisting the waves pounds at the cellulite and breaks it down. Exposure to hot sun by the sea for long periods melts it away and changes the texture of your body to smooth and rounded. Eating local fish and spending the rest of the day visiting the sights on foot helps you lose weight and burn the fat off where you need it.

I used to go every year and I would lose 10lb in two weeks doing nothing but enjoying myself and eating good food. Any fat remaining looks good - rounded instead of lumpy and hanging down. I have the type of cellulite nothing will remove completely except for this and it always works dramatically.

You are excercising all the time and when you are resting, you are getting a tan, improving circulation and melting the fat under your skin.

You will notice that people with a tan by the sea including fat people look good with smooth bodies.

Exposure to the sun and waves hitting your bum and thighs for a long period does get rid of it.

I also wear super tight but comfortable stretchy jeans.

    This keeps the cellulite down.

I have a bit but it's invisible and nothing like it used to be.

    2. Another thing that works is Callanetics.

You can still get videos of it at amazon.com.

This completely reshapes and retones your body,

In my case bum and thighs.

The excercises are focused and consist of getting into a muscle clenching position and making tiny pulsating movements followed by stretches. The positions are difficult to hold but work.

People who have 'low bum' that hangs below their hips can actually move the bum upwards and inwards like holding it up with your hands or wearing tight jeans except your newly toned/trained muscles are doing all the work properly so your bum looks rounded and smooth.

This causes cellulite to disappear - I don't know why this happens but it does reduce or at least become invisible.

You lose alot of inches of flab without losing alot of weight.

No other form of everyday excercise works like this.

There is no impact and you hardly move.

It's easy to do at home and only takes 20 minutes for each area you want to fix.

After 10 sessions you find your body has changed shape and the cellulite reduced. You don't need to go to a gym several times and do high impact excercise. This is something realistic that anyone can do. It's the quality and type of excercise that makes the difference. Running around and weight lifting does not get rid of cellulite at least not much of it.

You could lose alot of weight and it would still be there.

I used to do it in the 80s then forgot about it.

I have found people still doing it particularly in the US and you can find lots of articles and excercise videos or even join a class.

    www.callanetics.org is the official site.
Hi, creams alone will never work.

    You have to:

    - avoid fast food and sodas

    - massage your problem areas

    - scrub your problem areas (coffee ground scrubs work pretty well and cost nothing)

    - use a contrast shower

    - go for some body wrapping procedures.

Combined all together, these will make your cellulite invisible in several weeks - guaranteed! :). I work on it all the time and nobody knows I got cellulite.

    Visit http://www.fight-cellulite.com for more tips.

As for cellulite creams, I love Clarins and Gatineau products - seeexact names at the same website.

I tried the Nivea Goodbye Cream but found it didn't do anything for me.

I found the best thing to do was:

    Dry body brushing

    Drink plenty of water

Leg exercises such as leg raises and squats

    Cellulite massage

    See http://www.ridofcellulite.org for more info.
ive been dying to know of something that works too.

What's a Good Hair removal cream that has the same after effects as Waxing?

So, I've been shaving my legs for a long time now, and it's gotten very useless , and irritating.

So I wanted to use a Hair removal cream, But is there any Hair removal creams, that have the same after effects as waxing?

What I mean by this, is like, Being able to remove the root of the hair, so it won't grow back as quickly, and will grow back thinner. What's a Good Hair removal cream that has the same after effects as Waxing?
    There isn't one unfortunately.

If you do find one be sure to tell me though!

http://answers.yahoo.com/question/index;鈥?/a>What's a Good Hair removal cream that has the same after effects as Waxing?
I have tested several different creams and types of hair removal. I agree with your view point on the shaving routine, and searched some time ago for an alternative.

Just as a personal opinion, I haven't had much luck with the infomercial based products. They almost never work as good as they say they do, and I always feel ripped off after wards.

I really liked the concept of hair thinner lotions in general. Sometimes I get lazy/rushed and just shave because I don't like messing with creams that involve too many steps or too much time.

I have found a product through Avon that I really like and it smells good, not chemical-ish. Their hair-removal cream is great and I also use their Skin-So-Soft deodorant that prevents stubble. Both items are really inexpensive.

    I hope this helps.

Is it possible to get heavy cream in a container of 2%fat milk?

Opened a container today, and it poured really slow. Didn't smell bad or taste sour.

Is it possible somebody screwed up in the processing?

(If I get nasty answers, then my apprehension is affirmed). Is it possible to get heavy cream in a container of 2%fat milk?
It sounds like it was spoiled. Even if the date said oterwise. Is it possible to get heavy cream in a container of 2%fat milk?
    It's possible.

Sour milk generally isn't a thick liquid - it's curds (solid chunks) and whey (really watery stuff).

Commercial dairies skim the cream off everything, then add cream to the skimmed milk to produce 2% milk and whole milk. The stuff is homogenized, though, so that doesn't seem too likely.

Someone might have forgotten to put the correct boxes on the packaging machinery when they switched from producing 2% to producing cream, though. I imagine they'd catch the problem before too many were filled, but some might slip through the system.
    Chances are slim to none!
Did you check the expiration date? Even if it doesn't smell bad or sour, it may be heading in that direction. If you left it out, it's most likely curdled so I wouldn't drink it. It doesn't take long, especially on a warm day.
They could have mixed it up. I have never had that happen.
Wow, cream at a bargain price... May as well indulge a bit then.
I don't think so. The factories are pretty organized
    not likely

    no, unless you want extra
not ussaly but sometimes it depends on you store location if in STL then yes it does but if in St. charles then no STL because they have people in their community that do not follow the rules so they are making things difficult so the STL people have to move away from the Starbucks and never come back but in St. Charles they don't because the people in this city think it is fair but others don't but 50% of the STL think this is unfair and 50% of the St. Charles think it is so I hope this info helps Thanks.

Basically, employees there have to spend all day in freezing temperatures so as to keep the ice-cream solid. Not a nice job in summer, I'll tell you, when it's nice and warm outside (warm enough for t-shirts but not burning hot), they have to go into work with two layers of sweaters at the very least, and will feel like temperature is well over 100 degrees when coming out as they've been in the cold all day.How do companies make those ice cream sandwiches without them melting half the time?
flash frozen ice cream they make it and put it in a low low temp freezer so its solid so they can transport it mhm

You should watch this show on the food channel called unwrapped they show some cool stuff sometimes you get a star because this is the first time ive seen this question and Ive been here a while lolHow do companies make those ice cream sandwiches without them melting half the time?
That is a very good question. I would imagine they are processed in some machine which maintains the temperature below freezing. Then they are packed and stored in freezers or transported in freezer trailers.
You must have never had the opportunity to see one of these ice creams set in the sun all day and never melt more then a little bit?
    They only employ Eskimos.
they make them up your but and around the corner--it's very cold there! ha ah
They make them in very cold environments
    Very carefully!

  • Baked Potatoes with butter and sour cream?

how do i do thiS? how much of each for like one potato? help plz can i add this to mashed potatos?Baked Potatoes with butter and sour cream?
Microwave your potato and then put butter on it. then put sour cream on it. this is not rocket science, just personal taste. And yes you can add it to mashed potatoes, just use the sourcream and butter instead of milk and butter.Baked Potatoes with butter and sour cream?
Add as much as you like. Usually on one baked potato, butter about the size of a cherry tomato, and sour cream about the size of a golf ball. More or less as you like.

yes, you can add butter and sourcream as you mash the potatoes, or on top of it afterwards.
depends on what calorie diet you're on. for a 1800 calorie

diet, one small boiled potato with sour cream shouldn't hurt.

but if you were to eat 12 boiled baking potatoes with a cup of sour cream, that's what would get you down, and a stick of butter on each of them,... WOW.
you can add whatever you want to mashed potatos. i put butter and gravy on mine when most just put on one or the other. you can add sour cream to them and butter. whatever you want. as long as you like it! lol. that is what counts. i hope you enjoy your spuds!
A pat of butter and a dollop of sour cream! There ya go!

It varies from person to person. Just add a little, mash and taste to see if it is enough.
yes you cann add them to mashed potatoes and you put however amount u feek in enough

Im not sure about the creams.. but theres this clinic in kirkand. Longevity Medical Clinic. It does hair removal.. Hope this helped. LOl.Are there any body HAIR REMOVAL CREAM products that you would recommend?
nair but it burns a lot and smells disgusting. good luck!!!!!!!!!!!
I've used Nair before. Doesn't burn, but it smells pretty bad. This is to remove the hair on your legs, right? Anywhere else, DO NOT use Nair.
    Nair :)
Veet is good - but tbh I have never come across one which burned.
I actually mix Nair (Sensitiveve skin) with a tad of baby lotion.

It seems to work fine for me. It also depends on where you are planning to remove the hair from. For face I would suggest something from Sally Hanson, legs/arms nair is fine, other ';girly parts'; I would just say wax. It's less of a mess and a heck of a lot quicker. Hope it helps
I used Nair (the sensitive kind) and it burned me. So just don't use that kind. It also smelled horrific.

I'm interested to hear of a cream that actually works...
Nair. Works, doesn't burn, but smells disgusting. They all do though so ohwell.

What is a substitute for heavy cream in this recipe? do you have any similar recipes?

hi! i wanted to make profiteroles (ina garten's recipe). here is the link:

    http://www.foodnetwork.com/food/recipes/鈥?/a>

can i use whipped cream instead of the heavy cream? if not, do you have any other substitutes? any similar recipes? thanx so much! =]What is a substitute for heavy cream in this recipe? do you have any similar recipes?
Yes, you can use whipping cream in place of heavy cream.

... looking at the recipe.. the heavy cream is used to make a chocolate ganache.

In the USA, the butter fat content difference between heavy cream and whipping cream is relatively small. Half and Half is a lot lower so I would not use Half and Half unless you don't mind the lower fat content and lower richness.

Heavy whipping cream (36% milk fat or more)

Whipping or light whipping cream (30鈥?6% milk fat)

Half and half (10.5鈥?8% milk fat)What is a substitute for heavy cream in this recipe? do you have any similar recipes?
You cannot use whipped cream, it is way too light and airy. You could sustitute half and half for the heavy cream. I wouldn't use anything other then that or it will not turn out right.
    ----------------------------------------鈥?br>

    Ingredients:

1 cup water 1 tablespoon sugar 1/2 cup salted butter 1 cup all-purpose flour 4 large eggs For filling 2 cups whipping cream 1/2 cup confectioners sugar 1 tablespoon instant vanilla or chocolate pudding Preheat oven to 400 degrees.

    --------------------------------------鈥?br>

    Method:

Bring butter, sugar and water to a boil in a saucepan. When boiling, remove from heat and add all the flour in at once. Stir vigorously with a wooden spoon until well blended. Return to heat and stir until mixture forms a ';mass'; and a light doughy film forms on the bottom of the pot. Remove from heat and add the eggs one by one, stirring well after each addition. To make profiteroles: Using a pastry bag fitted with a 1/2 inch plain tip. Pipe 24 mounds (about 1 inch wide by 1 inch high) onto baking sheet, spacing them about 1 inch apart. Smooth the top of each puff with a pastry brush dipped in water. Bake for 15 to 20 minutes, then reduce heat to 350 degrees and bake for 10 minutes more until puffs are golden and dry. Remove from oven and pierce each profiterole once with a wooden pick to allow stem to escape. Return profiteroles to oven for 5 minutes. Transfer to a rack to cool completely. Note: Profiteroles can be baked and cooled 1 day ahead, then kept in an airtight container at room temperature. Recrisp in a preheated 350掳F oven, 5 minutes, before cutting and filling. Remove puffs from oven and pierce each one with a sharp knife to allow the steam to escape. FILLING: Whip the cream with sugar and instant vanilla or chocolate pudding until stiff. Fill the puffs with cream using a pastry bag fitted with a small plain tube.
Why do you want to exchange this? Calories? Is whipping cream less caloric than heavy cream? I think you could use whipping cream (not whipped), but with all the calories in this recipe, I think I'd go for the gold and use the heavy cream. But if all you have in the fridge is whipping cream, try it.

I'm hoping that you're planning on serving it with something other than Haagen Das. It has SO many fat calories. I can feel my arteries clogging now.

The difference between the creams is the percentage of fat content. Manufacturing cream (used by restaurants) has 40% fat, heavy cream in the 34%, whipped cream a bit less - depending on the processing dairy. You can safely substitute half and half in this recipe or any other where the cream is not used the main component of the topping (like whipped cream filling or on a cake).

When you use a cream with a lower fat content, the end product will not be as rich tasting. For instance, inexpensive supermarket ice cream is not as rich tasting as Haggen-Daz.
    ~*~

    Substitutes:

For 1 cup heavy cream use 1 cup evaporated milk

    --OR鈥?br>

3/4 cups milk + 1/3 cup butter (only for use in cooking %26amp; baking)

For 1 cup half %26amp; half cream use 1 T. melted butter or margarine + enough whole milk to make 1 cup

For light cream use 1 cup evaporated milk

    --OR鈥?br>

3/4 cup milk + 3 T. butter (only for use in cooking %26amp; baking)
Try using condensed milk instead. Don't dilute it.
I would use a heavy cream. You can use half and half but it won't be as thick or rich. You can always add a little cornstarch to it to make it thicker. There is also a powder that you can buy to help set the whipping cream if you are using it as a topping.

What can i make? I have chicken brst, alfredo sauce, cream of chicken, cream of mushroom, every kind pasta.?

I dont need to use all the ingredients, I just need a recipe tonight. please help. and I have every kind of cheese too. What can i make? I have chicken brst, alfredo sauce, cream of chicken, cream of mushroom, every kind pasta.?
Take your chicken, put it in a frying pan, season with some season salt, garlic salt or powder, crushed red pepper if you have it on both sides, put a little oil in pan and this sounds silly but after it cooks about 3 or 4 mins on med high add about 1/2 cup water and turn it let it cook about 5 min. turn it one more time and let cook 5 min. Cook your noodles (any) and then put them in casserole dish, and cream of chicken first, add your chicken and then put your cream of mushroom. Everything is already cooked so all you will need is to put it in oven for about 15 min. When its done add cheese if you want. Hope it works great for you. What can i make? I have chicken brst, alfredo sauce, cream of chicken, cream of mushroom, every kind pasta.?
I made some delicious tortellini with alfredo sauce %26amp; asparagus last night. You could use broccoli or another vegetable.

Cook several chopped cloves of garlic %26amp; 1 chopped onion (I used onion flakes, didn't have an onion) in olive oil. Add 1 cup chicken broth, 2 cups skim milk, 3 tbsp flour, salt %26amp; pepper (fresh ground is best). Cook til thickened. Then add 1/2 cup parmesan cheese. Cook pasta until almost done %26amp; add chopped veggies to it. (Or add the veggies to the mixture you're cooking). Drain pasta %26amp; rinse with boiling water, Mix into sauce. Mmmmmm.

Oh yeah, you can also cook the chicken, chop it %26amp; add to the sauce or put on top after you serve it.
