Sweet Balls Made With Cream of Wheat, Spices, and Nuts

Mix together in a saucepan:

1 cup uncooked cream of wheat

1 cup all-purpose flour

1/2 cup ghee

Cook over a low flame until the mixture turns brown (about 5-10 minutes), then mix in and stir constantly for another 2-3 minutes:

1 cup sugar

2 teaspoons powdered, unsalted nuts (mixture of cashew, pistachio, almond)

1 teaspoon cadamom powder

Mix well. Let cool for as long as possible, at least 30-60 minutes. The balls are easier to form when the ingredients are room temperature. Make into 1'; balls by squeezing about 1 heaping teaspoon of dough back and forth from one hand to another. Continue this process until each ball is firm and shiny. The mixture will be crumbly at first, and it takes a number of passes between your hands for the ball to form. If you are finding the mixture too crumbly, be sure you have let it cool enough. Some people find using a melon baller helps the process. As a last resort, add a little more melted ghee.

This is great! There are lots of things you can do with Cream of Wheat, my fav. cold weather hot cereal...but I think the best thing to do is to put a big spoon full of butter in the middle of the bowel, drizzle milk on it and then sprinkle it with brown sugar...YUM. My kids hate it, it's someting I had to eat growing up and now LOVE. Funny how things like that work out. LOL.
as much as i agree with the answer of chucking it in the toilet, click on the site below for some ideas.
How wasteful you are to throw cream of wheat down the toilet. There are so so so many things you can do with cream of wheat.

Try this.

You can also use cream of wheat in corn bread instead of cornmeal. You can go to http://kraftfoods.com/ or http:// cooks.com for more recipes using cream of wheat
