Add as much as you like. Usually on one baked potato, butter about the size of a cherry tomato, and sour cream about the size of a golf ball. More or less as you like.

you can add whatever you want to mashed potatos. i put butter and gravy on mine when most just put on one or the other. you can add sour cream to them and butter. whatever you want. as long as you like it! lol. that is what counts. i hope you enjoy your spuds!
