substitute with any other type of extract you may have, such as almond extract or peppermint extract.

use 1-2 tsp of lemon zest (or any other citrus you like)

add 1 oz. melted chocolate

if you have any vanilla pudding mix, mix some of that in to get the vanilla flavorCream cheese frosting without vanilla extract?
Sure. Any recipe will work, just leave it out. To make it taste like wedding cake, add almond extract instead.

Cream Cheese Icing

陆 pound (2 sticks) butter, room temp

2 (8 oz) packages cream cheese, room temp

2 pound confectioners' sugar, sifted

1 tsp pure vanilla extract, optional

Ccombine the butter, cream cheese, sugar, and vanilla in the bowl of an electric mixer fitted with the paddle attachment, mixing just until smooth.

Is there a reason why you can't/won't use vanilla? It's a base flavor, without it your pastries will not taste as great because it will be missing ';something'; and will be reminiscent of a bagel.

You can try other flavoring extracts as well, though. Just don't leave it plain D:
add some good cocoa powder instead, or if you already have cocoa powder leave it extractless
