Can you make quiche without cream?

If so, whats the recipe? Can you make quiche without cream?
The recipe depends on what kind of quiche you are making...but you can absolutely use milk instead of creamCan you make quiche without cream?
Yep try creme fresh. replace the cream with the crem fresh and everything else stays the same. or you can even use milk (semi skimmed of course)
You can use whole milk instead. Just add up the amounts (in fl. oz) of milk %26amp; cream in your recipe, and follow the recipe!
yes eggsand milk cant give quantities as it depends on the size of your quich dish basically 5 eggs to half litre of milk
I saw everyone answering without giving you a recipe....most quiches you can add milk instead of cream.......this one is a Canadian Bacon Quiche

1/2 pkg. (15 oz.) ready-to-bake pie crusts (1 crust)

3 KRAFT DELI DELUXE Swiss Cheese Slices, cut into quarters

6 slices OSCAR MAYER Ready to Serve Canadian Bacon, cut into bite-sized pieces

4 eggs

3/4 cup milk

1/4 cup green onion slices

1/4 cup Shredded Sharp Cheddar Cheese

1 Roma tomato, thinly sliced

PREHEAT oven to 400掳F. Prepare pie crust as directed on pkg. for unfilled 1-crust pie, using 9-inch pie plate sprayed with cooking spray. Arrange Swiss cheese pieces evenly on bottom of pie crust; top with the Canadian bacon.

BEAT eggs and milk with wire whisk until well blended; pour into crust. Sprinkle with onions and shredded cheese; top with tomato slices.

BAKE 15 min. Reduce heat to 350掳F; continue baking 25 to 30 min. or until center is set and top is lightly browned. Let stand 10 min. before cutting into 6 wedges to serve
You can use milk instead of cream but the texture at the end will be very holey and a little too llight best use a mixture mostly milk and a little cream
I have never made a quiche with cream! I bet it tastes great like that though... yum yum.
of course, use an alternative. cooking is supposed to be fun.
Yes you can. Try using Cream of Mushroom, or Cream of Celery or Asparagus soup instead of the cream as this will definitely add some fantastic flavor to your quiche.

bon aperitif!

enjoy!
Ingredients

225g/8oz shortcrust pastry

100g/4oz leeks, outer leaves and tops removed

a pinch of saffron strands soaked in 1 tbsp warm water

15g/陆oz unsalted butter

300ml/10fl oz fish stock

25ml/1fl oz Noilly Prat or other dry vermouth

a little lemon juice and salt

salt

a pinch of cayenne pepper

3 eggs

120ml/4fl oz creme fraiche

175g/6oz white crab meat

Method

1. preheat the oven to 190C/375F/Gas5.

2. Roll out the pastry and line a 20cm/8in flan ring. Prick the pastry, cover it with greaseproof paper and fill with baking beans. Bake for 10 minutes the remove the beans and paper and leave to cool.

3. Slice the leeks and boil them in lightly salted water for 10 minutes until really soft. Drain and place in a pan. Add the soaked saffron with the butter and drive off the excess moisture by stirring over a high heat.

4. Boil the fish stock and Noilly Prat together to reduce it to about 25ml/1fl oz. Add the lemon juice, salt and cayenne pepper then beat into the eggs and creme fraiche. Line the pastry case with the leeks and sprinkle with crab meat over the top. Pour over the eggs and cream and bake in the oven for 20 minutes. You can serve this either hot or cold.
you can use milk instead of cream depending on the recipe. You would mix your milk and eggs, pour it into the pie crust over whatever you are putting in it ei: ham---lots of cheese and then the milk egg batter. Yummy its sooooo good feel like having some now.
Yes you can make it without cream you make it with eggs and milk beat the eggs well usually about 4 then beat in some milk but do not overdo the milk it will be fine.

This recipe is very good-- cook 1 pound of minced meat with onions and add some currypowder ----- when it is cooked (by the way you are doing this in a frying pan very slowly so as you do not make the minced meat dry) drain the fat off well then place in your flan case and pour over your mixture of eggs and milk which are allready beaten together -- you can add some welldrained pineapple if you wish then cooked on heat 5 to 6 on a regular oven.
I have never used cream. Use two eggs, beaten into 1/2 pint of milk, add your favourite fillings, cheese, ham, onion, veggies etc, and bake as per recipe book
JUST SUBSTITUTE THE CREAM FOR MILK,IT WORKS JUST AS WELL.
