Nair seems to work the best. You can get an after wash (epil stop makes one) that will neutralize the smell and keep you from getting chemical burns.
i am surprised by your reaction to Veet. Have you tried the sensitive Veet solution? I use it and always use it in as little amounts as possible and just don't leave it on too long. It may be that you have extremely sensitive skin. Veet has always seemed better to me than Nair.. but that's just me. Best of luck!
