How can I make ice cream/frozen yogurt without a machine?

I want to make some Red Mango knock-off at home but I think it's more complicated than just freezing yogurt. How can I make ice cream/frozen yogurt without a machine?
mango ice cream

500 g ripe mango pulp

200 g heavy cream

8 eggs, separated

200 g castor sugar, superfine

陆 tsp lime juice

Method

Whisk egg whites until stiff. Add in sugar and whisk until fluffy.

In a separate bowl, whisk cream until firm. Beat the egg yolks then whisk into egg whites. Add lime juice, mango and cream, then pour mixture into an ice cream tub and put in freezer for at least 2 hours.

Remove and mix in blender or by hand. Pour into ice cream tub and freeze. How can I make ice cream/frozen yogurt without a machine?

Frozen yogurt is a great low-fat, low-calorie alternative to ice cream if you're looking for a cool, summertime treat. It only takes minutes to combine the ingredients for basic vanilla frozen yogurt, but patience is needed to freeze the yogurt to the right consistency.

Things You鈥檒l Need:

1 1/2 to 2 cups plain yogurt

Cheesecloth

Colander

2 to 3 cups milk

1/2 cup sugar

1 to 2 tsp salt

Gelatin

1 tsp vanilla extract

Ice cream machine ( you can use mixer if you dont have the machine)

Step1 Put 2 cups of plain yogurt into a cheesecloth-lined colander. Drain the excess liquid culture for at least 3 hours so that it doesn't interfere with the taste of the dessert. In a large bowl, blend together 2 to 3 cups of whole, low-fat or skim milk and 1/2 cup sugar or artificial sweetener.

Step2 Add 1 to 2 tsp of salt, then add a 3-ounce package of gelatin to the mixture. The gelatin will add thickness to the frozen yogurt.

Step3 Pour the blended ingredients from Steps 1 and 2 into a large double-boiler pot. Simmer the pot over low heat for 5 minutes, making sure that the gelatin is dissolved.

Step4 Remove the pot from the heat and let it cool. Stir in a teaspoon of vanilla extract and the 2 cups of drained yogurt from Step 1.

Step5 Pour everything into another large bowl, then cover it with a lid or with plastic wrap. Refrigerate the yogurt mixture for 8 hours so that it is well-blended.

Step6 Transfer the mixture to an ice cream machine. Every ice cream maker is different, so follow the instructions for churning the frozen yogurt, which can range from 20 to 40 minutes. Freeze the yogurt up to one week for best

Milk can become homemade ice cream in five minutes by using a bag! This homemade.

What you'll need:

1 tablespoon sugar

1/2 cup milk or half %26amp; half

1/4 teaspoon vanilla

6 tablespoons rock salt

1 pint-size plastic food storage bag (e.g., Ziploc)

1 gallon-size plastic food storage bag

Ice cubes

How to make it:

Fill the large bag half full of ice, and add the rock salt. Seal the bag.

Put milk, vanilla, and sugar into the small bag, and seal it.

Place the small bag inside the large one, and seal it again carefully.

Shake until the mixture is ice cream, which takes about 5 minutes.

Wipe off the top of the small bag, then open it carefully. Enjoy!

Tips:

A 1/2 cup milk will make about 1 scoop of ice cream, so double the recipe if you want more. But don't increase the proportions more that that -- a large amount might be too big for kids to pick-up because the ice itself is heavy.

Here's an improvised version of the homemade ice cream recipe from another parent:

These are the homemade ice cream ingredients . . .

1/4 teaspoon imitation vanilla butter and nut flavor

1 tablespoon sugar

1/2 cup 1% milk

These are the other supplies . . .

Plastic sandwich bag (e.g., Ziploc)

12 water softener pellets

1 tray of ice (My ice cube tray makes small cubes, so it produces only about half a tray.)

Large plastic bag

Put the ice-cream ingredients in the small bag, and then put the bag, salt, and ice in the big bag. Hold the bag shut and stir it around on the floor for about 5 minutes. Although the salt pellets hardly dissolved, I got ice cream. It was not as smooth as ice cream, probably because of the low-fat milk. Instead, it was a little like sherbet. I think if I had more ice in the bag, I could have shaken it better. I'd recommend wearing gloves. It is incredible that it is ready in 5 minutes (not counting assembling the ingredients.)

Next, I changed the recipe, using a tablespoon of cocoa, a tablespoon of sugar, and a cup of milk. I really wanted to use carob, but I didn't have any. It was a tad too chocolatey, but good! My daughter has milk allergies, so I suggested she try this with fruit juice. She used straight pineapple juice and got a terrific fruit sorbet.

Combine whipped cream with fruit and sweetened condensed milk and freeze. I don't know what Red mango is, but this is how my Mum makes ice cream without a machine.
go to an ice cream recipe website there are loads and loads of nice flavours and methods to choose from :)
cheaper and quicker to buy it i think.
