How to make fresh thick cream ?

Hi,





is it possible to make fresh double cream in the kitchen?


Is there an add-on for a kenwood chef or a machine that does it?





Or is it only available from dairies and supermarkets?

I have a cream maker that fits onto the Kenwood.To make double cream you put 8ozs of unsalted butter to 4 fl ozs of milk into the cream maker. If you want to whisk it to make it even thicker ,it works really well with the whisk although I have found it is very thick and have only whisked it when I want to put it into a sponge.Sorry, but it does not work with salted butter I always use lurpak, and it tastes really nice.How to make fresh thick cream ?
yea you can make clotted cream,but it takes a worm place for it to clott,but less fuss to buy it,





a country girl who makes clotted cream every morning...best cow's milk is, Jersey cow! full fat.and fresh,


you won't be able to make it from the milk bottle...

i think that the only way to make fresh cream is if yuo come from gersey the cream is thick and thats what the cows are bred for, then all youd have to do is put it into your blender or whip it really well .
just whisking cream will make it thicker
