Any way to restore sour cream to its original state?

Any way to restore sour cream after it has been frozen and then thawed? Mine froze in the fridge and then i thawed it, but now it is all watery, even after i stirred it up really well.Any way to restore sour cream to its original state?
No, the extreme cold temperature changes the molecular composition of the sour cream and causes it to liquefy or ';break';. Nothing you can do will fix it.

This also happens with cheese when it's heated at too high a temperature and it separates into oil and milk solids.Any way to restore sour cream to its original state?
Try putting it in the blender or food procesor and add a LITTLE whole milk.
That's cuz I don't think it's supposed to be froze.

I realize that was an accident, but I think your better off just throwing it out. Why chance it?!!?
no
Sour cream is not meant to be frozen. Neither is cream cheese,
Is buying more oh so hard?
As simple as sour cream is there's no way to bring it back to its creamy complexity. What's really happened is condensation built up while it was freezing so it's kinda like throwing an ice cube in. Maybe your fridge is up to high, there's a leak in the seal strip on the door causing multi teperatures or... try moving your dairy to the bottom shelf. Cold falls down, moisture up. So shed a tear, toss the tired thing and buy another tub...while your at it buy a new fridge too.
You might try popping it into the blender. But that might not even work.
