I went to a German bakery and got this little cake with cream and orange and was covered in marzipan. Recipe?

It was a little cake shaped as fruits and it was like cake and a cream like substance, and a hint of orange or apricot. A dense cake, all covered in marzipan and shaped as the fruit. Some dipped in chocolate and some not. Anyone know what this is and recipe?I went to a German bakery and got this little cake with cream and orange and was covered in marzipan. Recipe?
It is a type of seasonal fruit cake, which uses seasonal fruits to garnish and flavor. Every province has their own style of baking it. You will have better luck remembering the name of the cake than the ingredients used. Usually, fruit flavored liquors such as orange liquor, cherry liquor, apricot liquor, etc. are heavily used in the baking.
