My pediatrician prescribed it for my 6 month olds all over rash. 2 minutes after I put it on, she started screaming in pain like Ive never heard before. I quickly washed it off and she fell asleep, but my doctors office wants me to try again later. I dont want to chance it. Any suggestions?Has anyone ever heard of the cream Alclometasone?
Alclometasone dipropionate ointment is contraindicated in those patients with a history of hypersensitivity to any of the components in these preparations.
Your daughter is allergic to this drug.
Use common sense don't give her something that hurts her.
If your pediatrician doesn't change his mind, change your pediatrician!
